Perfect men's short haircut?

hey. im 15 yrs old and am going to a new high school. my hair, espescially on the top, is getting a little shaggy, and the bangs are getting to the point where i can't do much with them besides lay them down...i want to know what a perfect short haircut for a guy is. should i keep it even on teh top and sides, or fade it like i usually do? also, how long should the top and bangs be...1in, 2in, what? shoudl they use clippers? what is a good way to style it? thankyou
