I have gotten my eyebrows waxed probably 8 times, and this past time I went to some new tiny nail place, because I had no time. The lady did not seem very experienced but they came out all right. But a few days later a ton of tiny red bumps appeared above my eyebrow. They've been there for about 4 days now and I am so worried. I'm scared they will cause ingrown hairs which I've heard about but I don't know for sure. The bumps don't hurt but are very embarrasing and I NEED to get rid of them..Please if you have had this happen to you please tell me how you got rid of them.. and how long they lasted!!!

I've had this happen and I think its more about what they put on your skin after wards that causes the bumps, I always ask whoever is waxing to not put anything on especially baby oil! (good for legs and other areas but not your face) Also, make sure you do not wash your face before getting it done, the natural oil on your face will protect you from irritation. For now, treat the bumps like you would pimples, wash your face, apply toner and a drying cream - Proactive is great for me. Good Luck.
