I have a bad habit...?

i pick on my legs,and it leaves scars,i pick especailly when im nervous.any ideas on how i can stop? what i pick is my ingrown hairs on my legs.thanks for helping.

As with any habit, you have to make a conscious effort to stop. When you're aware that you're doing it..... quit it.

That's how I stopped biting my finger nails. It's not easy, but given time, you can do it.

Wear pants.

The answer is easy..... JUST STOP DOING IT................or else you will end up with ugly scarred up legs. Everytime you do it go eat some hot sauce by iteself until you finally stop picking at your legs. It workd for my cousin.

when you realize your doing it make yourself quit... it'll be hard at first but soon you'll grow out of the habit.. good luck

Ask your doctor for an anti-anxiety medication.

If you are getting ingrown hairs on your legs, you need to try to resolve that. Use a different type of razor on them. Wear long pants including long pajamas so you won't be as tempted since you would have to take off the pants first.

thats weird because i used to do that when i was nervous or stressed out as a teen. i think it was just a way to focus on something other than what was bothering me. over time i just stopped. good luck
