How do i get my hair this way?

i wanted to try and just put a slight wave in my hair(not curly and a bit less than wavy(if you know what i mean?) like a very relaxed wave. i used my hair straightners for this, by twisting them slightly, and it turned out the way i wanted it. the thing i need to know is, what product is best to put in my hair to keep the waves totally seperated? and do i use something before i start to use my straighteners or run something through my hair once it is done? when i experimented doing this on a night in, i did not use anything, and after a while the waves started going into each other and ended up looking like big waves stuck together! could you help please, got a special occasion coming up soon and i want my hair to look how it should look! thanks.

Heyy! like many girls, i am totally obsessed with making my hair cute. To make a light wave, you take a shower in the morning. After you are done showering, and of course brushing your hair, you flip your hair upside down and shake it. Grab a clump of your hair in your hand and push it to your scalp. You have to keep doing that for a while, longer if you want extra wavy hair, or not so much if you want it just a little wavy, like you said. Also, if you want it to air dry, you have to occasionally scrunch it, until it dries. If you blowdry it, make sure you scrunch it also, but not as much, it would also help if you had a extendo head. It goes on the end of the blow dryier, and makes it comfortable to scrunch your hair to your scalp and blow dry at the same time. That makes cute hair! Good luck! :)
